What you should know
This is a Corpus Sigorta product; you can get a quote through our agency.
The testing period is the phase in which the installed equipment is run and tested, and Corpus Sigorta's product information states it as 4 weeks. If your testing is planned to take longer, please tell us at the quotation stage.
The sum insured is usually based on the total completed value of the equipment and installation work. Scope, deductibles and extension limits are set out in the policy's special conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Contractors' All Risks focuses on building works, while Erection All Risks focuses on installing machinery and plant. At Corpus Sigorta the cover structure is similar, and Erection All Risks additionally includes a 4-week testing period. If your project involves both, we help you decide which policy fits.
That depends on how risk and insurance obligations are allocated in the contract. We review your supply and installation contract with you so that the insured parties are defined correctly.
When the testing period ends, the plant moves into its operational phase. At that point you should arrange operational covers such as Machinery Breakdown and Electronic Equipment insurance; we prepare the quotes in advance so there is no gap.
