Home insurance protects your property and contents against the risks that actually happen. The claims we see most often are not earthquakes: they are water leaking from a neighbour, a burst pipe or appliance hose, burglary and broken glass. Both owners and tenants can benefit from it.
We build the policy by setting the building and contents values correctly. Under-declaring the sum insured leads to proportionally reduced compensation at claim time; it is the most common disappointment for policyholders and the easiest to avoid. Some packages also include home services such as boiler and air-conditioner maintenance, carpet cleaning or a locksmith. These vary by insurer and package, so we compare quotes on that basis too.

What you should know
The building sum is based on rebuilding cost per square metre; land value is excluded. Tenants can insure contents and liability only, without building cover.
Home services such as boiler and air-conditioner maintenance, carpet cleaning and a locksmith vary by insurer and package. In Quick Sigorta's home package, for example, carpet cleaning is limited to once a year and 6 m². We share the number of uses and limits with you when preparing the quote.
Invoices, photos and official reports speed up a claim. We follow the claim file on your behalf.

Frequently asked questions

Your own internal-water cover pays, and the insurer may then recover from the party at fault. You do not have to manage the dispute yourself.
Think of what it would cost to furnish your home from scratch today. We add up appliances, furniture, electronics and textiles to reach a realistic figure.
Yes. Insuring the building is the owner's matter; you can insure your belongings and your liability as a tenant for damage you might cause to the owner or neighbours.
