Kasko starts where compulsory motor liability ends: it covers damage to your own vehicle. Collision, overturning, fire, theft or attempted theft, malicious acts by third parties and, depending on the package, natural perils are all within scope.
You will see names such as "extended", "super" or "full" kasko; these are insurers' package labels. What matters is which cover sits inside the package and at what limit. Some packages now go well beyond damage cover: Quick Sigorta's kasko, for example, includes unlimited courtesy cars, repairs with original parts and a 2-year repair guarantee, no-claims protection and free tyre storage. We go through deductibles, authorised-workshop conditions, courtesy-car duration and IMM limits with you, then pick the package you actually need.

What you should know
The sum insured is usually based on the kasko value list published by the Insurance Association of Türkiye. Insuring the car below its value can reduce the payout at claim time because of under-insurance.
Driving under the influence, driving without a licence or using the vehicle outside its declared purpose may be excluded under the general and policy conditions. We read through these clauses with you before you buy.
Some claims, such as glass and mini repairs, may be settled without affecting your no-claims discount, depending on the insurer and package. Talking to us before you report a claim can save you money in the long run.

Frequently asked questions
Liability covers the other party; kasko covers your own vehicle. They complement rather than replace each other.
Policies with an authorised-workshop clause require the insurer's network. A free-choice option usually costs a little more but adds flexibility.
It depends on the insurer, but paid claims generally affect your no-claims discount. Certain covers such as glass and mini repairs, or a no-claims protection cover, can soften that. For small amounts it can pay not to claim, and we run the numbers for you.
A deductible lowers the premium in return for you carrying part of the loss. Quick Sigorta's KASKONOMİQ works this way; see its product page for details.
The information on this page is for general guidance and does not replace policy wording. Scope of cover, limits, deductibles and exclusions are determined by the general and special conditions of the insurer you choose.
