Term Life Insurance

Simple one-year life cover that pays a lump sum to your loved ones if you pass away.

Term Life Insurance

Term life insurance pays the sum stated in the policy as a lump sum to the named beneficiaries if the insured passes away during the policy period. It is the most basic financial safeguard for making sure those left behind are not burdened by rent, school fees, daily expenses or debt. It matters most in single-income households, families with children and anyone carrying a loan.

The policy runs for one year and is renewed annually. Accidental death and accidental total and permanent disability can be added to the core death benefit. We set the sum insured by looking at your income, your debts and your family's needs together, and we follow the process on your behalf from application to any claim.

What is covered?

  • Death (core cover)
  • Accidental death (additional cover)
  • Accidental total and permanent disability (additional cover)
  • Payment of the policy sum to beneficiaries as a lump sum
  • Freedom to name your spouse, children or anyone you choose as beneficiary
  • Premiums deductible from the income tax base within legal limits

Optional add-on covers

  • Savings life products such as Lüküs Hayat if you also want to build savings
  • Group Term Life Insurance for your employees
  • Credit Life Insurance for your outstanding loan

What you should know

Quick Hayat's term life product accepts applicants aged 18–74, and cover cannot extend beyond age 75. Age limits and other terms may vary by insurer; ask us for the current conditions.

Life insurance premiums can be deducted from the income tax base within legal limits. The deduction you actually get depends on your type of income and the limits set by law.

A health declaration is required at application; smoking, occupation and health status affect the premium, and a medical report may be requested for higher sums. If you do not name a beneficiary clearly, the benefit is paid to your legal heirs in their statutory shares.
