A construction site is exposed from the first excavation to provisional acceptance. Contractor's All Risks and Erection All Risks policies cover sudden and unforeseen damage during the works, natural perils and theft, with optional third-party liability and construction plant cover.
For manufacturers, machinery breakdown and electronic equipment insurance is critical: a CNC machine, generator or server going down stops production immediately. We structure these covers around your project contract and machinery list, and compare insurers' offers for you.

What you should know
The policy is based on contract value and duration; if the works run longer, the policy must be extended by endorsement.
Principal, contractor and subcontractors can all be named as insured. For public tenders we review the contract wording to match the required cover.
For solar power plant projects, see our separate solar power plant insurance page.
