Contractors' All Risks insurance is an engineering policy designed for sudden and unforeseen physical damage to construction works, from the moment a building starts to rise on site until it is handed over. Contractors and project owners use it on projects of every scale, from residential and commercial buildings to infrastructure and industrial facilities.
The core cover includes fire, flood, landslide, snow, avalanche, storm, earthquake, aircraft and vehicle impact, and theft; site facilities, construction machinery and third-party liability can be added as extensions. We go through your contract structure, project duration and site conditions with you, obtain a suitable quote from Corpus Sigorta and follow your claim from start to finish.

What you should know
This is a Corpus Sigorta product; you can get a quote through our agency.
The sum insured is usually based on the total value of the works once completed; understating it can reduce the payout after a loss. Scope, deductibles and extension limits are set out in the policy's special conditions.
Corpus Sigorta applies a preventive insurance (risk engineering) approach to engineering risks: risk information is reviewed during the quotation process, a site visit is made where needed and any shortcomings found are shared as recommendations.
Frequently asked questions
The policy is usually arranged by the contractor or the project owner, and depending on the contract both can be named as insured parties. We check with you who carries the insurance obligation under your contract.
The core cover applies to the construction works themselves. Temporary facilities such as site containers and scaffolding (CPE) and construction machinery (CPM) can be added as extensions; their lists and values must be declared at the quotation stage.
The policy period follows the construction period and usually ends on handover. A maintenance period extension can be added for the time after handover; if construction runs late, the policy also needs to be extended.
